Ankarajyathe Jimmanmar Review: Can putting together a handful of decent actors alone ensure that a film would become interesting? Ankarajyathe Jimmanmaar is the latest proof as to how a sensible story deftly directed and entertainingly presented is the primary element any movie needs first, to win the audience. Ankarajyathe Jimmanmaar had promised some entertaining moments through its recent teasers and songs, but none of them translate into anything qualitative in the cinema hall.
Being a talented dramatist, Prakashan’s friends urge him to try filmmaking and to get in touch with his friend Kichu, who had left from the village earlier to earn a name for himself in film industry. Winning the trust of his initially disapproving wife, he leaves for Kochi city. But what Kichu is in Kochi, his lifestyle and the rest come as a surprise to Prakashan, who has no choice but blend in with the situation for the larger aim.
